Shortly after crossing the checkpoint, a tremor causes several spike-covered rocks to fall from the ceiling. The first checkpoint is found after the current. The Kongs will then enter a current that lightly pushes them back, while also sending several mines floating towards them. To get past the fish, the Kongs must attack them from their vulnerable backsides, while they are facing right. After passing through, there is a treasure chest that holds a flying banana, as well as three Mama Saws swimming back and fourth. To clear the way, the Kongs must get close to the leftmost one to set it off, which in turn sets off a chain reaction, eliminating the rest of the mines. After swimming past multiple Finleys, the Kongs will again find their path blocked by four mines. Past the mines and spikes found shortly after submerging into the water, the Kongs will find a chain blocking the path, which can be broken through using a Corkscrew. Common hazards found underwater include proximity mines, which explode and release shrapnel if the Kongs get close to one, and spikes. This time, the Kongs can take a vine down or simply dive into the water. Gather all 100 bananas for another shiny Puzzle Piece (4/5).The start of the level is very similar to that of Amiss Abyss, as the Kongs begin in a cave before entering the water. Pass the tentacle and go inside for another Secret Room (2/2). Past the KONG barrel, you’ll see a hole in the ceiling with an orange glow. Keep moving and dodging the slapping tentacles. At the top of the path you will eye the second KONG letter (2/4). you’ll soon land in a moving blast barrel. Follow the chain of blast barrels, avoiding the mines and tentacles. Make sure you move quickly or else you will be inked to death.Īvoid the falling obstacles and make to the blast barrel.
There is a hidden cove (2/3) with the third Puzzle Piece (3/5) inside.
Immediately after you break through the chain, head to the right. Avoid the tentacles as they try to block your ascent. While you do that, a GIANT OCTOPUS smashes the wall behind you. Release our pony tail friend so we can use her propeller ability to swim much faster. As you swim along, you will come across a Dixie barrel at a supposed dead end. Dodge them all to make it to the first checkpoint. Past the orange, saw-nosed fish is a jet stream with mines floating towards you. Moving along you will spot the first KONG letter (1/4) in between two rotating mines. Grab them all for the next Puzzle Piece (2/5). Inside is a hidden cove (1/3) with banana bunches inside. Once they explode, swim up into the rock above where the mines were. You’ll come across four mines that block your path. Dash through the middle to break the links. Down the path you’ll run into a chain that blocks your path. Dodge the floating mines, as they will explode if you get near them. Grab all of the bananas for a shiny Puzzle Piece (1/5). All you care about though is where are the Puzzle Pieces and KONG letters, and those answers my friends, I have.īefore we go swimming, grab the vine and climb up.
